Description
For anyone needing to operate an Overhead Gantry Crane in their workplace, this is the course for your team.
Course Objectives
Once you've successfully completed the course, the attendee will be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge of using a radio remote or pendant controlled gantry crane.
Demonstrate knowledge of radio remote or pendant controlled gantry crane components, equipment, and attachments.
Sling, lift, travel, and unload or place regular loads using a radio remote or pendant controlled gantry crane.
Park radio remote or pendant controlled gantry crane and store equipment.
Carry out daily and weekly operator maintenance of a radio remote or pendant controlled gantry crane.

Other Requirements
Proof must be given to show that all the students hold the relevant unit standards as stated in the prerequisite section.
Crane & lifting equipment must be certified when carrying out the practical components of the assessment.
Multiple objects to lift for the practical components of the assessment.
All students need to provide photo identification, either drivers licence or passport on the day.
A room big enough for all the students to sit & do the written part of the assessment.
