Description
Mini Crawler Cranes are becoming more & more in demand. If you are looking to operate a Mini Crawler Crane, this is the course for you. Also known as a Spider Crane.
Course Objectives
Once you've successfully completed the course, the attendee will be able to:
Prepare to lift and place regular and irregular loads with a mini-crawler crane.
Sling regular and irregular loads with a mini-crawler crane
Lift and place regular and irregular loads with a mini-crawler crane
Prepare a mini-crawler crane for transport and stow away equipment after use and travel a mini-crawler crane.
Important note: All unit standards are awarded by EarnLearn-Te Pukenga.
Other Requirements
Proof must be given to show that all the students hold the relevant unit standards as stated in the prerequisite section.
Crane & lifting equipment must be certified when carrying out the practical components of the assessment.
Multiple objects to lift for the practical components of the assessment.
All students need to provide photo identification, either drivers licence or passport on the day.
A room big enough for all the students to sit & do the written part of the assessment.
